With a left leg Bernabe Jaunzuria saved L.P. CITY from getting behind. Salvador Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Jaunzuria having to interfere. Humberto Huly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bernabe Jaunzuria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Olavarria FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Criston. Bernabe Jaunzuria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Basualdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Saul Eufemio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Kimetz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Bernabe Jaunzuria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Huly in the 25th minute of play. Honorato Kimetz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Alejandro Lapurdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Huly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to L.P. CITY getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Leonardo Matthew hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Humberto Huly notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of L.P. CITY's Bernabe Jaunzuria. Bernabe Jaunzuria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saul Eufemio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Kimetz's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Bernabe Jaunzuria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Huly in the 41st minute of the match. L.P. CITY's Bernabe Jaunzuria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Basualdo in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Basualdo made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Fernan Valery ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Eufemio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Salvador Basualdo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernabe Jaunzuria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Nestor Oihan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernabe Jaunzuria was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Basualdo in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Jaunzuria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Humberto Huly's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernabe Jaunzuria firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to L.P. CITY getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Fernan Valery hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Basualdo in the 95th minute of play forced L.P. CITY's goalkeeper Bernabe Jaunzuria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavarria FC played a much better game than L.P. CITY and deserved their victory. The L.P. CITY players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
