Emilio Federigo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Molinitos FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Moises Harri hit a great ball. With a little luck, Molinitos FC's Angelo Perpinya got control of the ball when Gregorio Chaime tried to sneak it across the goal line. Molinitos FC's Angelo Perpinya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Molinitos FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 15 minutes, Emilio Federigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molinitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Federigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Perpinya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Basualdo in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Olavarria FC's Salvador Basualdo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Perpinya. Angelo Perpinya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Angelo Perpinya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Basualdo in the 24th minute of the match. Angelo Perpinya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Huly in the 31st minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Molinitos FC's goalkeeper Angelo Perpinya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Natalio Terciero charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Terciero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Basualdo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Nestor Oihan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Perpinya was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Salvador Basualdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Criston took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Perpinya. Angelo Perpinya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Emilio Federigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Federigo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Eufemio saved Olavarria FC from getting behind. Rodrigo Criston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Perpinya having to interfere. The supporters of Olavarria FC booed when Molinitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Lucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Molinitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Basualdo came free, but Angelo Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Perpinya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Oihan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Federigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Olavarria FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Criston. Molinitos FC's Emilio Federigo got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
