In the 10th minute Rogelio Bihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Jaizki kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Sol to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Rústicos Club booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Rústicos Club's Orlando Barrionuevo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Rolando Naelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Naelio in the 38th minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Silvestre Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Elija charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Elija the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Rústicos Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Elija to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Gervasio Santos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Americo Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 3-0 when David Sol sped through Rústicos Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Justo Columbo. Orlando Barrionuevo's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Los Andes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Barrionuevo helped the player get up and apologised. Americo Ciano hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Rogelio Bihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Veremundo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Naelio in the 90th minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Silvestre Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico Los Andes:s Silvestre Veremundo showed great skill when he stopped Orlando Barrionuevo:s penalty. 93 minutes into the match Orlando Barrionuevo came totally free in front of Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper and smashed the ball just inside the right post. Club Atletico Los Andes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
