Matancilla AFC's Melquiades Turi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Ted in the 7th minute of play. If Roman Egoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Roman Egoitz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Melquiades Turi to make any attempt to save it. Melquiades Turi stood somewhat misplaced when Ricardo Tirso came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. Ricardo Tirso got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 3-0 in the right cross in the 23rd match minute before Melquiades Turi had time to react. Ricardo Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Turi having to interfere. Fethi Enginer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Matthew in the 28th minute of play. Fethi Enginer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Fidensio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Tirso got free with Melquiades Turi in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Matancilla AFC's goalkeeper Melquiades Turi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Egoitz. Maximo Sarracino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, one of Matancilla AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Angel Oliviero walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcial Matthew made a kick off. Ricardo Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Tirso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Turi having to make a save. Roman Egoitz struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Melquiades Turi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apeleg. Ricardo Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Turi having to interfere. The supporters of Matancilla AFC booed when Apeleg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Ted didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benjamin Vincent fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matancilla AFC's protests and gave Benjamin Vincent a yellow card for diving instead. Benjamin Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Melquiades Turi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Tirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Melquiades Turi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Egoitz in the 70th minute of the match. Melquiades Turi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Egoitz's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Roman Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Melquiades Turi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Apeleg got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Ezkerra. After some careless play in the Matancilla AFC defense, Ricardo Tirso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Turi. The Matancilla AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Turi should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Egoitz in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Turi saved Matancilla AFC from getting behind. After 98 played minutes Matancilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Matthew. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Apeleg fully deserved thier win.
