In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pastillos AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Frutos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute Rolando Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Jedamericano FC's Cristo Bernebe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Frutos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Rolando Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cristo Bernebe sped through Pastillos AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Frutos. When Ezequiel Sol fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jedamericano FC's protests and gave Ezequiel Sol a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pastillos AFC booed when Jedamericano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Rolando Bernad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jedamericano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Bernad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristo Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jedamericano FC's Horacio Firme got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 48th minute, Juan Cresencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After recieving a nice pass, Jedamericano FC's Rene Roldanillo tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Jedamericano FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Horacio Firme hit a great ball. Jedamericano FC's Braulio Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Otsando in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Rolando Bernad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Frutos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ivan Frutos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Bernad went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Rolando Bernad was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Juan Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Lopes having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Pastillos AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Frutos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Bernad. Rigoberto Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Ildefonso Tabb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Jedamericano FC's Cristo Bernebe in the 95th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ivan Frutos was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pastillos AFC through an amazing save. In the 97th minute, Cristo Bernebe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ivan Frutos, passed just outside the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jedamericano FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
