The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Buenos Aires United booed when Amistad de Barrio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Redouane Deville didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Cosme Saturnin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Roano. Buenos Aires United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Saturnin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Blas Baudelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Roano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Cosme Saturnin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenos Aires United's Juan Roano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan Roano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Saturnin's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Felix Bikendi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nunez Cerilo. Felix Bikendi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 29 minutes into the game, Amistad de Barrio's Cosme Saturnin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Roano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. If Cosme Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Saturnin scored 1-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Roano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Buenos Aires United's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Dolcet came free, but Juan Roano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Cosme Saturnin sped through Buenos Aires United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Roano. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosme Saturnin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gregorio Baraquiel made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Amistad de Barrio's Ulises Dolcet. Blas Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Roano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cosme Saturnin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 61 minute of play. When Amistad de Barrio's Cosme Saturnin in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Blas Baudelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosme Saturnin in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Roano saved Buenos Aires United from getting behind. Juan Roano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-7. Juan Roano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Saturnin in the 77th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Saturnin during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cosme Saturnin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Cosme Saturnin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Roano having to make a save. Nunez Cerilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Roano having to interfere. Blas Baudelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Roano having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Saturnin in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Roano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Amistad de Barrio booed when Buenos Aires United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Amistad de Barrio's Blas Baudelio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle sounded Amistad de Barrio left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Buenos Aires United.
