Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Florian in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Ivan Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Florian in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pastillos AFC's Eliseo Medina got a free kick in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pastillos AFC's zone, Saverio Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Frutos came out of the goal and Saverio Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Frutos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Esdras in the 38th minute of play forced Pastillos AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Cresencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Osvaldo Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atletico Belgrano! Prospero Diegotxe shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigoberto Otsando made a kick off. Pastillos AFC's Ivan Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Esdras in the 57th minute of play. Modesto Florian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ivan Frutos made a huge save. Osvaldo Abechuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Otsando in the 69th minute of the match. Juan Cresencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Osvaldo Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Modesto Florian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Florian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute Saverio Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
