Matancilla AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amistad de Barrio the free kick. When Amistad de Barrio's Cosme Saturnin in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Melquiades Turi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 35 minutes into the game, Blas Baudelio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melquiades Turi. Blas Baudelio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 40th minute of the match Laureano James sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melquiades Turi skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute, Redouane Deville hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Matthew might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nunez Cerilo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcial Matthew ran back to his position shaking his head. Amistad de Barrio's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
