After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cosme Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amistad de Barrio's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Saturnin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Abechuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes, Amistad de Barrio's Ignacio Iraunkor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldo Abechuco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Amistad de Barrio reached it. The audience was convinced that Cosme Saturnin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Abechuco was relentless in the 37th minute of the game.

In the 88th minute, Blas Baudelio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Osvaldo Abechuco, passed just outside the right post. In the 90th minute of the match Ignacio Iraunkor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Abechuco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Blas Baudelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Club Atletico Belgrano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Amistad de Barrio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
