In the 13th minute, Budger F.C.'s Ernesto Katia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Celso Nuxila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anier Cesario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Budger F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Cordarell came free, but Anier Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Budger F.C.'s Anier Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Cordarell in the 24th minute of play. Club Comunicaciones's Alfredo Cordarell got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Alfredo Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Comunicaciones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Cordarell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anier Cesario came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Comunicaciones's Celso Nuxila. But to his dismay, Celso Nuxila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 48 minutes, Alfredo Cordarell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Comunicaciones and the Budger F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfredo Cordarell hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Cordarell was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Club Comunicaciones booed when Budger F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Gai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes in the game Victorino Gentza got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Ernesto Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Club Comunicaciones's Alfredo Cordarell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anier Cesario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernesto Katia might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Eliu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Katia ran back to his position shaking his head. Budger F.C.'s Anier Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Cordarell in the 65th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Domingos Koldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Budger F.C. defense, Celso Nuxila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Cesario. The Budger F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Cesario should have stopped the shot. Alfredo Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Cesario having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Alfredo Cordarell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingos Koldo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Alfredo Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Cesario having to interfere. Celso Nuxila in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anier Cesario, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute Ernesto Katia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Eliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Saturnino Ralondo fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Comunicaciones's protests and gave Saturnino Ralondo a yellow card for diving instead. If Ernesto Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alfredo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Comunicaciones played a much better game than Budger F.C. and deserved their victory. The Budger F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
