The TORQUAY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Esteve Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Nuxila, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Gavino Joanes charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Joanes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Gavino Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Braulio Nuxila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Geronimo Garikoitz could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Esteve Torres however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Silvestre Mikelats managed to get in a good position for a shot. TORQUAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Mikelats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Bartoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, TORQUAY's Silvestre Mikelats sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidro Bartoli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. TORQUAY were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Libertarians FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Froilan Paulin took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Dante Acuña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertarians FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Acuña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braulio Nuxila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Libertarians FC's Braulio Nuxila got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geronimo Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Torres having to interfere. Patricio Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Libertarians FC's Isidro Bartoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Libertarians FC from getting a goal against them. Isidro Bartoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Mikelats who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Isidro Bartoli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Camilo Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Bartoli having to interfere. Silvestre Mikelats received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidro Bartoli came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvestre Mikelats slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 75th minute. If Geronimo Garikoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TORQUAY were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Libertarians FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Froilan Paulin took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Libertarians FC's goalie and right to Delmar Firman. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Libertarians FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Isidro Bartoli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Mikelats in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. TORQUAY had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
