The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Cheche was the one to do the kick off. Aristides Feliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Nerio in the 54th minute of play. Elias Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pucará FC booed when Iriondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Criston didn't get a good kick on the ball.
