Filomeno Birjaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Uturungo's goalkeeper Filomeno Birjaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Cebrian. Rodolfo Nayely charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Nayely the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Uturungo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rodolfo Nayely hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Lucio Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Americo Caetano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filomeno Birjaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The referee ignored Pucará FC's protests and gave Emilio Polentzi a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Pucará FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Polentzi. Pucará FC's Francisco Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Paio in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Domingos Cebrian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pucará FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Cebrian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Birjaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
