After a rather tough play, Iriondo's Ovidio Mikeldi got a free kick in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Moreto Futbol Club's Fulgencio Emesto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Moreto Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Cheche came free, but Juan Onbera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Lizar's late challenge caught a Iriondo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Lizar helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 22 minutes, Fausto Quintan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iriondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Quintan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Fausto Quintan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Moreto Futbol Club's Juan Onbera didn't even have to move. Florentino Eladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Iriondo's zone, Pascual Xabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Feliu came out of the goal and Pascual Xabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ernesto Cordarryl fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iriondo's protests and gave Ernesto Cordarryl a yellow card for diving instead. Ernesto Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Pascual Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Pascual Xabel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moreto Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Xabel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Iriondo booed when Moreto Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Onbera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Eladio in the 43rd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascual Xabel to strike the kick off in the second half. If Florentino Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moreto Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Filomeno Cheche scored to the left of an out of position Juan Onbera, making the score, 0-1. In the 64th minute, Iriondo's Filomeno Cheche dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 71 minutes into the game, Fidel Eguntsenti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moreto Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iriondo the free kick. In the 78th minute, Donato Nel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Iriondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Eladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iriondo's Filomeno Cheche got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florentino Eladio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Juan Onbera made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Filomeno Cheche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Eulalio Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Filomeno Cheche sped through Moreto Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Onbera. The Moreto Futbol Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Iriondo's performance. The match ended with a win for Iriondo.
