Francisco Eyague made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Benet in the 16th minute. After 23 minutes Pucará FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adolfo Orlondon who took care of the corner kick. FC Hielo's Remigio Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Nerio in the 28th minute of play. Octavio Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Francisco Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Eyague was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Octavio Sasoin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Octavio Sasoin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Sasoin was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Domingos Cebrian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Remigio Geofredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Roque Illart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Benet in the 65th minute of play. Norberto Vasco charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Vasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Pucará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Vasco to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Domingos Cebrian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pucará FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hielo the free kick. The supporters of FC Hielo booed when Pucará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Octavio Sasoin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pucará FC's Francisco Eyague was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hielo's zone, Domingos Cebrian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Geofredo came out of the goal and Domingos Cebrian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Elias Nerio came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Pucará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Nerio couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Luis Blasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Hielo's Adolfo Orlondon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pucará FC. Francisco Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Benet in the 84th minute of play. Guido Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Octavio Sasoin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Eyague. Pucará FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavio Sasoin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Hielo had won after a very even match.
