Albano Otsando came out of the goal and Denis Oliveiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Cristos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Urko in the 22nd minute of play. Geronimo Cristos had great luck who in the 26thth minute grab hold of the ball when Astor Urko from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Alberto Iturri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Astor Urko's late challenge caught a Momios F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Urko helped the player get up and apologised. Fernan Pedroso shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Urko to make the kick off. Denis Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Astor Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granosangrante F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Urko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geronimo Cristos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Iturri in the 70th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Granosangrante F.C got a freekick which was hit by Israel Remir. In the 73rd minute, Edgard Gines fired a really elegant long shot, but Albano Otsando threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After 83 minutes, Froilan Quintan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granosangrante F.C and the Momios F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Momios F.C. booed when Granosangrante F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Quintan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Granosangrante F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Mikelats came free, but Albano Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Mikelats might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albano Otsando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Mikelats ran back to his position shaking his head. Momios F.C.'s Igor Mikelats got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 96 minutes, Alberto Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granosangrante F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Iturri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
