In the 28th minute, Eustacio Martxel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Irrintzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Barrionuevo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Eustacio Martxel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. F.C. Titulares's Anselmo Frutos got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57thth minute of the game Domingo Peter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chapanay FC's Danny Brotherton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Leandro Shantala fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapanay FC's protests and gave Leandro Shantala a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chapanay FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Leandro Shantala hit a great ball. In the 71st match minute, Chapanay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Nerio to maneuver through the defense. Danny Brotherton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Martxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Alvaro Policarpio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Higinio Barrionuevo made a huge save. In the 76th minute, F.C. Titulares's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alvaro Policarpio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Higinio Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Irrintzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Titulares's goalkeeper Higinio Barrionuevo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eustacio Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Danny Brotherton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Ugaitz's late challenge caught a Chapanay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anier Ugaitz helped the player get up and apologised. When F.C.
