Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Niceto Izotz made the kick off which started today's match. loquitos de meri's Bernardino Cai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Isaio in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Quemeros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Arotza came free, but Aristides Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes Quemeros FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Filipo. Aristides Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to Quemeros FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Arnoldo Isaio hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Quemeros FC's Niceto Izotz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Cai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Abar got free with Aristides Osmundo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Esteban Arotza got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for loquitos de meri. After 30 minutes, Cornelio Filipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quemeros FC and the loquitos de meri players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, one of Quemeros FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, loquitos de meri's Rafael Louis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aristides Osmundo. Cayetano Lizar struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Bernardino Cai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quemeros FC. Aristides Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Arotza in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteban Arotza made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, one of Quemeros FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quemeros FC. Esteban Arotza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Osmundo having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidro Larpe during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, loquitos de meri's Isidro Larpe got a free kick in the 68th minute. Niceto Izotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Izotz in the 71st minute of play forced loquitos de meri's goalkeeper Bernardino Cai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Cai made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Cayetano Lizar sent off a good shot on target. Lucio Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aristides Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Lucio Turi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dario Abilio hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Arnoldo Isaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quemeros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Isaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Cai having to interfere. Bernardino Cai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Izotz in the 93rd minute of the match. When Niceto Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Quemeros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Izotz couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
