Pocito AFC's Ermegildo Palban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Pocito AFC from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Pocito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Vito came free, but Ermegildo Palban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nicanor Stanislao fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita FC's protests and gave Nicanor Stanislao a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pocito AFC booed when Chacarita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Stanislao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Chacarita FC's Godofredo Ramos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ermegildo Palban. Ermegildo Palban yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 21st minute Ruben Burutzagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Mosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Palban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Ramos in the 25th minute of play. Eriberto Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Vito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Ermegildo Palban skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Godofredo Ramos hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermegildo Palban was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Ramos in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Palban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the game, Eriberto Vito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ermegildo Palban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ermegildo Palban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Vito in the 44th minute. Ruben Burutzagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Ramos to make the kick off. Anacleto Belmiro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Cipriano Mosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Faron in the 59th minute of the match. With a little luck, Chacarita FC's Cipriano Mosen got control of the ball when Virgilio Hori tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Lino Quiroga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ermegildo Palban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Virgilio Hori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Cipriano Mosen made a huge save. A collision led to Chacarita FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lino Quiroga hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Nicanor Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Palban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Chacarita FC were awarded a corner. Godofredo Ramos went to the cornerflag to take it. Ruben Burutzagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Palban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Quiroga in the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Godofredo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Ruben Burutzagi in the 87th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Burutzagi in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Mosen saved Chacarita FC from getting behind. Godofredo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ermegildo Palban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chacarita FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
