C.A Santa Paula's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cayetano Lizar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With an all-out effort, C.A Santa Paula's Aristides Osmundo threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernabe Cordero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Jeremias Koldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Ivan Santiago notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C.A Santa Paula's Eriberto Rutenio. Eriberto Rutenio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The C.A Santa Paula players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quemeros FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernabe Cordero to strike the kick off in the second half.
