Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) 6 minutes into the match, C.A. Barrio Roma's Mariano Brion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Tirso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rayo Rosarino's zone, Mariano Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Tirso came out of the goal and Mariano Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rayo Rosarino's Manuel Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Brion in the 14th minute of play. Bruno Hegoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvano Peruxu came out and tried to block the shot, but Bruno Hegoi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Candido Guillelmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Barrio Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Guillelmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Tirso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Txanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tirso having to interfere. Mariano Brion struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Manuel Tirso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Barrio Roma. If Mariano Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tirso having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Mariano Brion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rayo Rosarino's Manuel Tirso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute Bruno Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Brion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Tirso having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Baladi made a kick off. Silvano Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Baladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Mariano Brion who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Tirso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Rayo Rosarino:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A. Barrio Roma:s goal. Erasmo Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Manuel Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Mariano Brion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvano Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Hegoi in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Rayo Rosarino booed when C.A. Barrio Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Bikendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Txaran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvano Peruxu. C.A. Barrio Roma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Brion in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Tirso saved Rayo Rosarino from getting behind. Silvano Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Baladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Bernardo Abella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Silvano Peruxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Brion struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Manuel Tirso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Barrio Roma. Bernardo Abella's late challenge caught a C.A. Barrio Roma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Abella helped the player get up and apologised. Mariano Brion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Brion struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Manuel Tirso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Barrio Roma. C.A. Barrio Roma's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rayo Rosarino had won, even though C.A. Barrio Roma had held more of the ball.
