The Allende F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saverio Jesco should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Allende F.C.'s zone, Lino Quiroga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saverio Jesco came out of the goal and Lino Quiroga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Jesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute Godofredo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Jesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Mosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Dolfo in the 37th minute of play. Nicanor Stanislao hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Allende F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Armando Chayo. 44 minutes into the game, Eriberto Vito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Saverio Jesco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th match minute, Chacarita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Allende F.C. booed when Chacarita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Stanislao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Vito charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Vito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chacarita FC's Eriberto Vito got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Aldo Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Mosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
