The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes, C.A Santa Paula's Adrian Vistruario shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermegildo Palban came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A Santa Paula reached it. Ermegildo Palban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Virgilio Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Hori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ruben Burutzagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Ruben Burutzagi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eriberto Rutenio to make any attempt to save it. Ermegildo Palban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to C.A Santa Paula getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cornelio Guillelmus hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Pocito AFC's Salvador Gipuzkoa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bernabe Cordero scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Palban, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Bernabe Cordero made a precise shot to the right of Ermegildo Palban. Pocito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 48th minute, Virgilio Hori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ruben Burutzagi made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pocito AFC's Virgilio Hori fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Virgilio Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Leguizamón's late challenge caught a Pocito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Leguizamón helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes C.A Santa Paula got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Leguizamón. Ruben Burutzagi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eriberto Rutenio having to make a save. Eriberto Rutenio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Hori in the 60th minute of the match. Ruben Burutzagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Hori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eriberto Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Pocito AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A Santa Paula:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ermegildo Palban, was totally fooled by C.A Santa Paula's Robustiano Lamberto, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 84 minutes, Ruben Burutzagi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virgilio Hori might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Rutenio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Hori ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ruben Burutzagi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Burutzagi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Rutenio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A Santa Paula's Eriberto Rutenio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Burutzagi in the 93rd minute of play. When Ruben Burutzagi came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Pocito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Burutzagi couldn't finish the play. C.A Santa Paula's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
