With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braulio Etxekopar in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Terciero saved Pozancón from getting behind. A hard shot 4 in the game by Elias Santio from a close distance when the talented Elpidio Florinio managed to make a qualified save. Maciel's players were relieved. Tobias Bidun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Braulio Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Damaso Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Ciceron couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Maciel's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Santio came free, but Elpidio Florinio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Maciel's goalkeeper Elpidio Florinio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Ciceron. Damaso Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Florinio having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Santio to strike the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Florinio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Santio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56thth minute of the game Elias Santio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maciel's Elpidio Florinio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Elias Santio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Damaso Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Tobias Bidun got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 70 minutes, Marcelino Manny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pozancón and the Maciel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Maciel booed when Pozancón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Manny didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Edgardo Araoz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionisio Terciero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcelino Manny kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Elias Santio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Florinio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Maciel's Angelino Otoniel got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Damaso Ciceron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Florinio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Damaso Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elias Santio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Pozancón players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
