Silvestre Selatse hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Juan Garikoitz was a little too slow when Gogo Mateus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Gogo Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anexo F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Mateus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 played minutes Anexo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Abel. After 22 minutes of play, Viale's Anier Telesforo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisito Mino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anier Telesforo struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Luisito Mino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viale. Anier Telesforo scored 2-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisito Mino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Telesforo in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Mino saved Anexo F.C. from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Daniel Bakar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viale's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Bakar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Mino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gogo Mateus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Mateus was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gogo Mateus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Garikoitz was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Viale's Roberto Misael got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Zacarias Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Gogo Mateus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Garikoitz. Viale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Mateus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 61 minutes into the match, Viale's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Urtungo came free, but Juan Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacarias Urtungo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Garikoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Telesforo in the 83rd minute of play forced Anexo F.C.'s goalkeeper Luisito Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Mateus struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Juan Garikoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anexo F.C.. Daniel Bakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Mino having to interfere. If Anier Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Anexo F.C.'s Baldomiro Montae broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
