A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nicanor Gizon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Orlando Macias came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Quinquela Martín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Macias couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Macias got free with Nicanor Gizon in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Frontera's zone, Silvio Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Gizon came out of the goal and Silvio Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wlodzimierz Trzaskoma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Dubardo in the 33rd minute of the match. Nicasio Iban kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Nicanor Gizon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Orlando Macias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quinquela Martín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Dubardo made a kick off. Frontera's Nicanor Gizon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Estevez in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Orlando Macias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicanor Gizon. Frontera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Macias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Orlando Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Quinquela Martín's Vinicio Porfiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vinicio Porfiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Quinquela Martín protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vinicio Porfiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quinquela Martín! When the referee ended the match the Quinquela Martín players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
