With a little luck, Viale's Juan Garikoitz got control of the ball when Humberto Giraldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santiago Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Garikoitz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Viale's zone, Humberto Giraldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Garikoitz came out of the goal and Humberto Giraldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anier Telesforo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Daniel Bakar took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilfredo Arano. Wilfredo Arano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 29th minute, tano juniors's Ramiro Monico seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ramiro Monico the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of tano juniors protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ramiro Monico had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of tano juniors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Viale:s goal. 34 minutes in the game, Lisandro Vela fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Juan Garikoitz having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Viale's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Vela came free, but Juan Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Firmin might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Garikoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Firmin ran back to his position shaking his head. Viale's Juan Garikoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Viale from getting a goal against them. If Cesar Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Anier Telesforo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of tano juniors's Wilfredo Arano. Wilfredo Arano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Anier Telesforo made the kick off in the second half. Lisandro Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Garikoitz having to interfere. If Humberto Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Garikoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Giraldo in the 57th minute of the match. Lisandro Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Garikoitz having to interfere. Humberto Giraldo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Juan Garikoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for tano juniors. Juan Garikoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Firmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Vela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Cesar Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tano juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Firmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Lisandro Vela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Garikoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Viale getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jose Rameriz hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Anier Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. tano juniors's Wilfredo Arano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Telesforo in the 72nd minute of play. Humberto Giraldo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Juan Garikoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for tano juniors. tano juniors's Lisandro Vela got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lisandro Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Juan Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Humberto Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Viale's goalkeeper Juan Garikoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 98th minute, Humberto Giraldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tano juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
