Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvio Estevez started the match with the kick off. Orlando Macias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Florinio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Etxekopar got free with Wlodzimierz Trzaskoma in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Macias might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elpidio Florinio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Macias ran back to his position shaking his head. Elpidio Florinio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Estevez in the 14th minute of play forced Maciel's goalkeeper Elpidio Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Orlando Macias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Maciel got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Otoniel. 18 minutes into the match, Quinquela Martín's Sebastian Barea broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quinquela Martín's zone, Braulio Etxekopar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wlodzimierz Trzaskoma came out of the goal and Braulio Etxekopar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Bidun in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wlodzimierz Trzaskoma saved Quinquela Martín from getting behind. Wlodzimierz Trzaskoma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tobias Bidun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. After 27 minutes, Marcial Misael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maciel and the Quinquela Martín players grew even worse after the yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, Orlando Macias notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Maciel's Elpidio Florinio. Elpidio Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Orlando Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Quinquela Martín's Mario Theobald got a free kick in the 40th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Elpidio Florinio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 63 played minutes Maciel got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Otoniel. In the 64th minute Silvio Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Macias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Florinio having to interfere. Maciel's Elpidio Florinio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Estevez in the 69th minute of play. Silvio Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Elpidio Florinio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Orlando Macias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elpidio Florinio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Orlando Macias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Florinio having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Quinquela Martín's Silvio Estevez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Silvio Estevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elpidio Florinio having to make a save. When Angelino Otoniel fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maciel's protests and gave Angelino Otoniel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Maciel's Angelino Otoniel got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Domingo Gaueko hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Silvio Estevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elpidio Florinio having to make a save. The Quinquela Martín players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
