The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raul Frichoso lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tobuna! Tocata FCs' Tomas Miro made a terrific save as he just managed to stop Gilberto Ramonds penalty just before it crossed the line at his left post. Tomas Miro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Fidele in the 7th minute of play. If Enrique Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Filipo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Angelo Urti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tobuna. If Basilio Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Urti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Duardo in the 17th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, Tobuna's Pedro Filipo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Urti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Filipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Enrique Duardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tobuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Duardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Urti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute Pedro Filipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Silverio Herauso came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Tobuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Herauso couldn't finish the play. Pedro Filipo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Urti. Angelo Urti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nunez Elia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Miro having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Tobuna's Enrique Duardo got a free kick in the 40th minute. Nunez Elia came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tomas Miro could save by the left post. Ermegildo Cordarrel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorato Fidele made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Enrique Duardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Tobuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Duardo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 59 minutes, Pedro Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tobuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Filipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Mundo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Urti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Tocata FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ermegildo Cordarrel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Elia in the 73rd minute of play forced Tobuna's goalkeeper Tomas Miro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Pedro Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tobuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Filipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tocata FC's zone, Enrique Duardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Urti came out of the goal and Enrique Duardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobuna's Bernardo Kepa was substituted for Iker Valerio. In the 86th minute, Pedro Filipo made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Urti. Tocata FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Marciano Savion took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angelo Urti. Tocata FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match was over Tobuna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tocata FC throughout the match.
