Marciano Savion started the match with the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Enrique Duardo put in a rough tackle. In the 6th minute, one of Tobuna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tobuna. The goalkeeper, Tomas Miro, was totally fooled by Matyvelez F.C.'s David Elija, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Saul Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16thth minute of the game Pedro Filipo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matyvelez F.C.'s Saul Santikurtz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Filipo scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saul Santikurtz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The long shot by Luciano Miliano in the 22nd minute really tested Tomas Miro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Matyvelez F.C. booed when Tobuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Savion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Qwinton hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Saul Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Joachim in the 33rd minute of play. Silverio Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Santikurtz having to interfere. Emanuel Peyo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Peyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saul Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Filipo in the 40th minute of play. Matyvelez F.C.'s Saul Santikurtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Filipo in the 43rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Mundo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Santikurtz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marciano Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Tomás Maule made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tobuna booed when Matyvelez F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Miliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Marciano Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tobuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Savion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Filipos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Saul Santikurtz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marciano Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Santikurtz having to interfere. When Silverio Herauso came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Tobuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Herauso couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Froila during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Froila kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Emilio Aimar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matyvelez F.C. and the Tobuna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emilio Aimar hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Tobuna's Blas Aurre was substituted for Guido Ibañez. Matyvelez F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tobuna had controlled the match.
