After having played for 7 minutes, Celso Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacuarí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Quiroga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Erubiel Cesaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Justo Gasteiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santo Eudoxio. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Quiroga in the 19th minute of play forced Viejas del Agua's goalkeeper Santo Eudoxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ezequiel Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ezequiel Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viejas del Agua's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Ciceron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Millrick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Celso Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Viejas del Agua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Quinito to maneuver through the defense. Celso Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Santo Eudoxio made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Gasteiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Viejas del Agua's zone, Celso Quiroga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Eudoxio came out of the goal and Celso Quiroga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Narciso Ledesma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Ezequiel Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Millrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Tacuarí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Monte to maneuver through the defense. Nereo Florian made a great header on Viejas del Agua's corner, it was just that Tacuarí's Maximo Millrick managed to reach the ball for a save. Lucio Bertran took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Eudoxio. Santo Eudoxio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 80thth minute of the game Celso Quiroga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viejas del Agua's Santo Eudoxio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ezequiel Ciceron struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Maximo Millrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viejas del Agua. Celso Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Eudoxio having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Justo Gasteiz made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Viejas del Agua's Santo Eudoxio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celso Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fidel Monte came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tacuarí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Monte couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Tacuarí players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
