Laureano Mogel struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Santo Eudoxio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escaya. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Ciceron in the 6th minute of play forced Escaya's goalkeeper Isidro Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Escaya's Esteve Urritz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Eudoxio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 played minutes Viejas del Agua got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Ledesma. Santo Eudoxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Urritz in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Escaya booed when Viejas del Agua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viejas del Agua's Santo Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Urritz in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Mogel in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Eudoxio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santo Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Urritz in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Viejas del Agua's Narciso Ledesma got a free kick in the 37th minute. Esteve Urritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Eudoxio having to interfere. When Laureano Mogel came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Escaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Mogel couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Mogel in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santo Eudoxio saved Viejas del Agua from getting behind. The Viejas del Agua players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Escaya were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Ciceron made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Escaya got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Cordeara. A collision led to Viejas del Agua getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jacobo Larra hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Escaya got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Betadur. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Ciceron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Lixandro was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Laureano Mogel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 61st playminute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Eate during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Escaya booed when Viejas del Agua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Eate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viejas del Agua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Ciceron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saverio Cordeara hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes Viejas del Agua got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bermudez. 83 minutes into the match, Viejas del Agua's goalkeeper Santo Eudoxio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Betadur. Santo Eudoxio made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Laureano Mogel sent off a good shot on target. Santo Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Urritz in the 93rd minute of play. Esteve Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Escaya's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
