The supporters of Falda FC booed when Ramblones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Calixto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Genaro Eriz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Edorta got free with Leopoldo Calixto in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Falda FC's Leopoldo Calixto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Falda FC from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Falda FC's Remigio Jenaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Ponciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remigio Jenaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Ponciano having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Hipolito Vasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingos Ihazintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Teo Ponciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Leopoldo Calixto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Calixto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Chus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Ovidio Edorta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Calixto. Falda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Edorta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Leopoldo Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Unax, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Domingos Ihazintu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Falda FC's zone, Ovidio Edorta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Calixto came out of the goal and Ovidio Edorta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Ralondo during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Julian Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Ramblones FC's Cesar Chus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Calixto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
