Erasmo Gonchan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 20 minutes into the match, Club Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Mogel came free, but Erasmo Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Mogel in the 26th minute of play forced Club Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Erasmo Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Villa Mitre's Venancio Mino got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of Club Villa Mitre booed when Escaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Crispo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justino Mergildo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Escaya's zone, Jeremias Mingo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Lixandro came out of the goal and Jeremias Mingo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 52 played minutes Club Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Martxelin. In the 55thth minute of the game Esteve Urritz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Villa Mitre's Erasmo Gonchan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laureano Mogel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Erasmo Gonchan made a huge save. Erasmo Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Urritz in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Esteve Urritz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 77 minutes, Laureano Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Mogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Urritz in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Gonchan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Escaya's Esteve Urritz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erasmo Gonchan. That made the score 0-4 after 82 minutes of play. In the 85th minute of the match, Esteve Urritz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erasmo Gonchan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Laureano Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Gonchan having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Club Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Errapel. Laureano Mogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Erasmo Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Cordeara charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Cordeara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saverio Cordeara hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Escaya left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Villa Mitre.
