Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basilio Papo started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Tacuarí getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bruno Gorri hit a great ball. Basilio Papo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 6 minutes, Omar Lertxun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marull's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Lertxun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Maximo Millrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Basilio Papo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Justo Gasteiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Gasteiz in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Curcio saved Marull from getting behind. Maximino Curcio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Gasteiz's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes, Lucio Bertran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tacuarí and the Marull players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tacuarí's Lucio Bertran got a free kick in the 28th minute. Basilio Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Millrick having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Tacuarí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Txomin to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Millrick was a little too slow when Basilio Papo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Maximo Millrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Papo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fidel Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Gasteiz in the 47th minute of play forced Marull's goalkeeper Maximino Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
Celso Quiroga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 52nd playminute. 57 minutes into the match, Marull's goalkeeper Maximino Curcio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Quiroga. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Basilio Papo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marull's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Papo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Millrick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Lertxun in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Millrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Celso Quiroga notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Marull's Maximino Curcio. Maximino Curcio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Celso Quiroga made a precise shot to the right of Maximino Curcio. Marull's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With a little luck, Marull's Maximino Curcio got control of the ball when Celso Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line.
