Celestino Viviano started the match with the kick off. Fidel Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Ferdinand in the 3rd minute of play. When Franky Cocolina fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sol De Justicia's protests and gave Franky Cocolina a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sol De Justicia's Franky Cocolina got a free kick in the 4th minute. Fidel Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Ferdinand in the 7th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Teo Ramos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Gonzales skillfully saved the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Aurelio Rioja notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Schalke 04's Fidel Gonzales. Fidel Gonzales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sol De Justicia's Aurelio Rioja in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Schalke 04's goalie prevented a goal. Aurelio Rioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Gonzales was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Rioja in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Gonzales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Aurelio Rioja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Gonzales was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jonathan Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Gonzales having to interfere. 57 minutes in the game, Aurelio Rioja fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fidel Gonzales having to interfere. Jonathan Ferdinand might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Gonzales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Ferdinand ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in FC Schalke 04's zone, Aurelio Rioja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Gonzales came out of the goal and Aurelio Rioja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Jonathan Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sol De Justicia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Ferdinand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jonathan Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sol De Justicia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Ferdinand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Gonzales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Schalke 04's Fidel Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Ferdinand in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Aurelio Rioja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Fidel Gonzales was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reynaldo Ferman kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Sol De Justicia's Jonathan Ferdinand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Gonzales made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After 85 played minutes Sol De Justicia got a freekick which was hit by Teo Ramos. Esteve Bastiaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Vicente Bullon having to interfere. Aurelio Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fidel Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Herena hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the match, Esteve Bastiaro notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Sol De Justicia's Jorge Vicente Bullon. Jorge Vicente Bullon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sol De Justicia played a much better game than FC Schalke 04 and deserved their victory. The FC Schalke 04 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
