After 14 minutes of play, Escaya's Esteve Urritz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Siro Ler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laureano Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Ler having to interfere. After some careless play in the F.C Buenos Aires defense, Esteve Urritz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siro Ler. The F.C Buenos Aires fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siro Ler should have stopped the shot. F.C Buenos Aires's Siro Ler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Urritz in the 29th minute of play. Laureano Mogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Siro Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Laureano Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Mogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Ler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Mogel in the 40th minute of the match. Siro Ler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Urritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Natalio Mazuste notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Escaya's Isidro Lixandro. Isidro Lixandro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Siro Ler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Urritz in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natalio Mazuste made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Laureano Mogel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Buenos Aires the free kick. After 54 played minutes Escaya got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Mogel. If Esteve Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Siro Ler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dalmacio Fagildo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Urritz in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Ler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laureano Mogel came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Siro Ler could save by the left post. Teo Garoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Lixandro having to interfere. Esteve Urritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Ler having to interfere. Escaya's Amador Ariando suffered a concussion in the 75th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The supporters of Escaya booed when F.C Buenos Aires was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Fagildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Escaya's Laureano Mogel got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Mogel in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Siro Ler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 81st minute, Laureano Mogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Roman Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Montrel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Ler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 played minutes F.C Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Phelipe. Esteve Urritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Ler having to interfere. Laureano Mogel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Siro Ler made a huge save. A collision led to F.C Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Baldomiro Orain hit a great ball. When the match was over Escaya could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C Buenos Aires throughout the match.
