After 10 minutes, Narciso Ledesma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viejas del Agua and the Club Villa Mitre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narciso Ledesma hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Jayvier got free with Santo Eudoxio in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Club Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Ciceron came free, but Erasmo Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristobal Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Ciceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play Viejas del Agua's Narciso Ledesma was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Viejas del Agua getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Narciso Ledesma hit a great ball. Justino Mergildo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Santo Eudoxio firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Club Villa Mitre fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Club Villa Mitre's Jeremias Mingo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremias Mingo was the one to do the kick off. Honorio Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, Jeremias Mingo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Viejas del Agua's Santo Eudoxio. Santo Eudoxio came out of the goal and Justino Mergildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Mingo in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Club Villa Mitre booed when Viejas del Agua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Ciceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Eate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Erasmo Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Mingo in the 72nd minute of play. Santo Eudoxio came out of the goal and Jeremias Mingo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viejas del Agua's Gonzalo Quinito got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Gonzalo Quinito off the ground. Club Villa Mitre's Jeremias Mingo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremias Mingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Santo Eudoxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Viejas del Agua's goalkeeper Santo Eudoxio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Villa Mitre had won after a very even match.
