If Teo Garoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Rexino kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Timoteo Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Siro Ler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Transito in the 10th minute of play. After 13 played minutes, F.C Buenos Aires's Flavio Rozarius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timoteo Barea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C Buenos Aires reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Tobatirenda AFC's zone, Teo Garoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Barea came out of the goal and Teo Garoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Garoa in the 25th minute of play forced Tobatirenda AFC's goalkeeper Timoteo Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Luix hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Natalio Mazuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Timoteo Barea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Barea came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C Buenos Aires's Natalio Mazuste. But to his dismay, Natalio Mazuste quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 35 played minutes F.C Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Teo Garoa. Hugo Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Siro Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Orain charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Orain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes F.C Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Orain. A hard shot by Albano Bladi from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Siro Ler's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 41st minute, Jeremias Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Tobatirenda AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C Buenos Aires were winning 0-1.

Natalio Mazuste blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timoteo Barea having to make a save. The supporters of F.C Buenos Aires booed when Tobatirenda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Rexino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Victoriano Beltxe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timoteo Barea skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Tobatirenda AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hugo Transito hit a great ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Natalio Mazuste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tobatirenda AFC's Timoteo Barea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ildefonso Boniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Ler having to interfere. Timoteo Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Mazuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobatirenda AFC's Timoteo Barea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Tobatirenda AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched F.C Buenos Aires eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
