Spectators: 7138 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 50) Cintura Cósmica FC's Severino Lia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cintura Cósmica FC's Serafino Valiente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Ieltxu in the 5th minute of play. Desiderio Ieltxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Valiente having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Tomás Evis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Severino Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Mouricio came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Cintura Cósmica FC's Erasmo Rafel. But to his dismay, Erasmo Rafel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute of the match Ubaldo Oroitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Mouricio skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Ieltxu in the 23rd minute of play forced Cintura Cósmica FC's goalkeeper Serafino Valiente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Ieltxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Serafino Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Desiderio Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. Los Bybys's Desiderio Ieltxu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Desiderio Ieltxu in the 43rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Serafino Valiente kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After having played for 47 minutes, Desiderio Ieltxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Los Bybys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Ieltxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Ieltxu made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Prospero Ebardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Valiente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Ieltxu in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Desiderio Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Valiente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emilio Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Los Bybys's zone, Severino Lia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Mouricio came out of the goal and Severino Lia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erasmo Rafel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Mouricio having to make a save. 79 minutes into the game, Severino Lia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Mouricio. Severino Lia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Serafino Valiente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Ieltxu in the 88th minute of play. F.C. Los Bybys's Pedro Mouricio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Lia in the 90th minute of play. Erasmo Rafel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Mouricio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Cintura Cósmica FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cintura Cósmica FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
