Baldomero Errolan's late challenge caught a C.A.B.MITRE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Errolan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A.B.MITRE booed when Cintura Cósmica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Errolan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cintura Cósmica FC's zone, Marcial Ondino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Valiente came out of the goal and Marcial Ondino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Cordero in the 75th minute of play forced Cintura Cósmica FC's goalkeeper Serafino Valiente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A.B.MITRE's Anastasio Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Lia in the 78th minute of play. Felix Cordero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafino Valiente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Primo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the Cintura Cósmica FC defense, Aureliano Primo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Valiente. The Cintura Cósmica FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Valiente should have stopped the shot. C.A.B.MITRE's Anastasio Maldonado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.B.MITRE from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute, Felix Cordero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A.B.MITRE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
