MTD FC's Jimeno Jayvier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Palben in the 6th minute of play. Benigno Palben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Leoncio charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmar Leoncio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of UnionTate booed when MTD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Leoncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Palben in the 13th minute of play forced MTD FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Jayvier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UnionTate's Nestor Cordarius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save UnionTate from getting a goal against them. Jimeno Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Palben in the 19th minute of play. Nestor Cordarius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Mon in the 21st minute of the match. Aureliano Lizardi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Nestor Cordarius made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Aureliano Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot. MTD FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Lizardi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Cordarius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, UnionTate's goalkeeper Nestor Cordarius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Lizardi. In the 31st minute Benigno Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Jayvier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, MTD FC's Delmar Leoncio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Juan Dubardo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MTD FC's Jimeno Jayvier didn't even have to move. Aureliano Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nestor Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the game, Carlos Ospetsu landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. During the 45th minute of the match Delmar Leoncio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Delmar Leoncio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to MTD FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Delmar Leoncio hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Palben stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benigno Palben could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Jimeno Jayvier made a huge save. Aureliano Lizardi struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Nestor Cordarius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MTD FC. If Atilano Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustacio Milian during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, UnionTate's Eustacio Milian got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, UnionTate's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Lizardi came free, but Nestor Cordarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Cordarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Lizardi in the 69th minute of play. Eustacio Milian was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 73 played minutes UnionTate got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Milian. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Aureliano Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atilano Urti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Cordarius having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, MTD FC's Aureliano Lizardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Cordarius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nestor Cordarius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Lizardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
