Ramon Montae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Leonides Larra made a huge save. Ramon Montae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Larra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Joaquin Laurin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Venceslao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Larra having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bellocq's Carmelo Shepherd got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ramon Montae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Leonides Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match Luciano Endira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmiro Mincho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rigoberto Enmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Eder during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermegildo Venceslao to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Venceslao in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Larra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los pinos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Montae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rigoberto Enmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Ezkerra charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Ezkerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rigoberto Enmanuel's late challenge caught a Los pinos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Enmanuel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bellocq's Rigoberto Enmanuel got a free kick in the 68th minute.
