Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) After having played for 4 minutes, Albino Baraquiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clason's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Baraquiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, UnionTate's Juan Dubardo got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Hipolito Basualdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in UnionTate's zone, Albino Baraquiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Cordarius came out of the goal and Albino Baraquiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Clason's Epifanio Poncio got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 18 played minutes, UnionTate's Juan Dubardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luciano Luar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UnionTate reached it. A collision led to Clason getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Albino Baraquiel hit a great ball. Ceferino Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Albino Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Clason fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. Benigno Palben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ceferino Segio was the one to do the kick off. If Eustacio Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Segio in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Luar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angel Elia's late challenge caught a UnionTate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Elia helped the player get up and apologised. A nice corner shot did that Juan Dubardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luciano Luar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ceferino Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Benigno Palben came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the UnionTate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Palben couldn't finish the play. Benigno Palben let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 82nd minute shot 0-1 at rihgt post. Nestor Cordarius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Benigno Palben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Luar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
