An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Satordi in the 17th minute of play forced Balbus FC's goalkeeper German Otoniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Ovidio Artaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidio Artaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Artaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Cafferata got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Artaldo. 27 minutes into the match, Balbus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Satordi came free, but German Otoniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cafferata's zone, Melchor Fe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Eguntsenti came out of the goal and Melchor Fe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute Juan Urdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Otoniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Melchor Fe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Satordi to strike the kick off in the second half. German Otoniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Satordi in the 52nd minute. Ovidio Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. German Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Abajas in the 55th minute of play forced Cafferata's goalkeeper Constantino Eguntsenti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Ovidio Artaldo took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for German Otoniel to make any attempt to save it. 75 minutes in the game Arnulfo Porfirio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arnulfo Hechter. In the 95th minute, Nicasio Cordaro had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Isaias Gaztea fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cafferata's protests and gave Isaias Gaztea a yellow card for diving instead. Balbus FC's Froilan Polo was substituted for Nicasio Cordaro. Isaias Gaztea kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cafferata walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
