In the 27th minute, Geronimo Satordi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in River Pate's zone, Geronimo Satordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Tino came out of the goal and Geronimo Satordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute of the match Ovidio Artaldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Tino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the River Pate defense, Geronimo Satordi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Tino. The River Pate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Tino should have stopped the shot. Geronimo Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cafferata were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after River Pate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvano Seme took the corner. Geronimo Satordi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Lucas Tino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafferata. The River Pate fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cafferata were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
