Melchor Fe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Silvestre Iruinea made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Remigio Ler in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Balbus FC's Lucio Illan. 11 minutes into the match, Lucio Illan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Iruinea. Encón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Illan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Leo Abajas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvestre Iruinea having to make a save. Clemente Vigil hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Nicasio Cordaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvestre Iruinea, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Balbus FC's Leo Abajas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvestre Iruinea. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. Leo Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Silvestre Iruinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Gaspar Galeno sped through Balbus FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of German Otoniel. Santo Jaunzuria charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Jaunzuria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucio Illan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Silvestre Iruinea made a huge save. If Alfredo Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Abajas in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Iruinea saved Encón from getting behind. Melchor Fe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Iruinea having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Balbus FC's Silvestre Iruinea threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leo Abajas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Melchor Fe took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Iruinea. Silvestre Iruinea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaspar Galeno to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Iruinea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Balbus FC's Leo Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Melchor Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaspar Galeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. German Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Abajas in the 59th minute of play forced Encón's goalkeeper Silvestre Iruinea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Galeno struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. German Otoniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Encón. Melchor Fe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Melchor Fe made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Iruinea. Encón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Alfredo Walme kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 77th minute Melchor Fe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Melchor Fe made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Iruinea. Encón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Silvestre Iruinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Encón's goalkeeper Silvestre Iruinea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvestre Iruinea came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Balbus FC's Leo Abajas. But to his dismay, Leo Abajas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. There was no doubt that Balbus FC were the better team. Balbus FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
