Evelio Hotz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Godofredo booed when Soto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Tibalt hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Ruben Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Sanson struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gonzalo Eduino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godofredo. After a rather tough play, Godofredo's Ruben Gonzo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Filiberto Sanson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Filiberto Sanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Eduino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ruben Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Gonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gonzalo Eduino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Eduino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Sanson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Godofredo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Gonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiberto Sanson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzalo Eduino having to make a save. Filiberto Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 62 played minutes Soto got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Bernat. Ruben Gonzo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Godofredo's goalkeeper Eusebio Gartzea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 97 in the game by Filiberto Sanson from a close distance when the talented Gonzalo Eduino managed to make a qualified save. Soto's players were relieved. Soto succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Godofredo had controlled the match.
