In the 45th minute of the match, Jaime Baldovino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hermengildo Chaime saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Mateus couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Lizar in the 80th minute of play forced Imperio Galáctico FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Chaime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Man Red FC's goalkeeper Augusto Lizer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Mateus. Hermengildo Chale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Lizer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Imperio Galáctico FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Man Red FC.
