The supporters of Iglesia booed when Muñecos del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 10th match minute, Iglesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Clis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 11 minutes, Marcelino Hanni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muñecos del Sur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Hanni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Marcelino Hanni came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Muñecos del Sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Hanni couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saverio Cordarrel kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Hanni in the 22nd minute of play forced Iglesia's goalkeeper Teodoro Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
